the sun sets behind the hills
loud rock music cheers the spring

Cher - Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) (California, 1966)
Originally I got to know this song by the Nancy Sinatra version on the Kill Bill OST. Later I came across a live performance with Glen Campbell. What a wonderful duet!

I discovered the disc Tokyo Riddim 1976-1985 while browsing BandCamp collections. What a fantastic mix of Japanese singers and dub riddims.

Limp Bizkit: Everything (Florida, 1997)
I could never resonate with nu metal. To me it was the music that younger kids in my high school listened to. I don’t even understand how this song was recorded and then published in the first place. But it is awesome. Appearently, the song was a full improvization and then got approved by the band’s producer to make it to the album.
